Publication: Farklı lise türlerine devam eden lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medyaya ilişkin tutumları ile yalnızlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi (Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesi örneği)
Abstract
Son yıllarda milyarlarca kişi tarafından kullanılmaya başlayan internet, yaşamımızın her alanını derinden etkileyerek adeta hayatımızın bir parçası haline gelmeye başlamıştır. Özellikle internet kullanımının en yaygın olduğu sosyal ağlar, iletişimin odağı haline gelmiştir. Son on yılda görülen değişimlerle birlikte insan ilişkileri sosyalleşme biçimleri ve hatta yaşam tarzları bu durumdan önemli ölçüde etkilenmiştir. Bu nedenle araştırmada farklı lise türlerine devam eden lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medyaya ilişkin tutumları ile yalnızlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır.Tarama modelinde hazırlanan araştırmada, örneklem grubu 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesindeki okul türü farklı olan resmi ortaöğretim kurumlarından tesadüfi oransız küme örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 1004 lise öğrencisidir. Veri toplamak amacıyla öğrencilerin sosyal medyaya ilişkin tutumlarını ortaya koymak için, Otrar ve Argın (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Sosyal Medya Tutum Ölçeği, öğrencilerin yalnızlık durumlarını değerlendirmek için Demir (1989) tarafından geliştirilip revize edilen UCLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Uygulamalar doğrudan araştırmacı tarafından öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri okullarda gerçekleştirilmiş, uygulama öncesinde araştırmanın amacına ve uygulama sürecine ait sözlü ve yazılı yönerge verilmiştir. Uygulamalar ortalama 40-45 dakika (1 ders saati) sürmüştür.
The internet, which has been used by billions of people in recent years, has become a part of our lives by deeply affecting every aspect of our life. Especially social networks, the most common use of the internet, have become the focus of communication. Along with the changes seen in the last decade, the way in which people socialize their associations and even their lifestyles has been greatly influenced by this situation. For this reason, it was aimed to reveal the relation between the attitudes of the high school students attending different high school types to social media and loneliness levels.In the research that was prepared in the screening model, the sample group is 1004 high school students selected by random secondary school sampling method from official secondary education institutions different from school type in Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul province in the 2016-2017 educational year. Perceived Social Support Scaledeveloped by Otrar, Argın (2013), the UCLA Loneliness Scale developed and revised by Demir (1989) and the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used to assess students 'loneliness status in order to gather data on students' social media attitudes. The applications were carried out directly by the researcher in the schools where the students were educated, and the verbal and written instructions for the application process were given for the purpose of researching before the application. Practices lasted for an average of 40-45 minutes (1 lesson hour).
