Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı liderlik tarzları ile örgütsel bağlılık ve örgütsel sessizlik arasındaki ilişkinin açıklanmasıdır. Çalışmada ilk önce geniş bir literatür taraması yapılarak liderlik tarzları, örgütsel bağlılık ve örgütsel sessizlik kavramları teorik çerçevede sunulmuştur. Bu bölümlerde, kavramların tanımı, boyutları, etkileyen faktörler ve sonuçları anlatılmıştır. Çalışma teorik bir çerçevede sunulduktan sonra, liderlik tarzları ölçmek için Bass ve Stogdill tarafından geliştirilmiş çok boyutlu liderlik ölçeği(MLQ), örgütsel bağlılığı ölçmek için; Wasti ve Can’ın Türkçeye çeviri ve adaptasyonunu yaptığı Meyer ve Allen'in örgütsel bağlılık ölçeği ve örgütsel sessizliği ölçmek için Ayşehan Çakıcı tarafından geliştirilmiş örgütsel sessizlik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma İstanbul’da bulunan iki üniversitenin İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, İşletme Bölümünde görev yapan 112 akademisyen üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. The aim of this study is the explanation of the relation leadership styles between organizational commitment and organizational silence. Firstly, leadership styles, organizational commitment and organizational silence concepts are presented in a theoretical frame by doing a wide literature search. In these parts, definitions of the concepts, sizes, effective factors and their results are explained. After the presentation of the study in a theoretical frame, to measure the leadership styles “multifactor leadership questionnaire” which is developed by Bass and Stogdill, to measure the organizational commitment Meyer ve Allen’s “organizational commitment measurement”, which is translated and adapted to Turkish by Wasti and Can, and to measure organizational silence “organizational silence measurement”, which is developed by Ayşehan Çakıcı, are used. Research was done on 112 people who are working on Business Admistration department of two universities in Istanbul. After the result of these surveys, the relation of leadership styles between organizational commitment and organizational silence was being tried to explain by evaluating the data.
