Abstract
Yabancı dil bilmek günümüz dünyasında oldukça önemlidir. Bu yüzden milletler gelecek nesillerine, her eğitim seviyesinde yabancı dil öğretmek için program, materyal ve müfredat hazırlar. Ülkemizde de eğitim-öğretimin hemen her seviyesinde yabancı dil öğretim programları hazırlanmıştır. Ülkemizde bir müfredat içinde öğretilen yabancı dillerden biri de Arapçadır. Arapça öğretimi hem resmi hem de gayri resmi kurum ve kuruluşlarca hemen her seviyede yapılmaktadır. Arapça öğretiminin yapıldığı resmi kurumlardan biri de yabancı dil hazırlık sınıfları da bulunan proje imam-hatip liseleridir.Bu makalede yabancı dil hazırlık sınıfı bulunan proje imam-hatip liselerinden Ömer Çam Anadolu İmam-Hatip Lisesindeki Arapça öğretim programının teorik altyapısı, bu programda uygulanan yabancı dil öğretme yöntemleri, bir bütün olarak Arapça ders programı, bu programın materyalleri ve bu programa yardımcı aktiviteler incelenmiştir. Bu incelemeden sonra mezkûr Arapça öğretim programını bitiren veya programın son sınıfında olan öğrencilere yapılan anket çalışmasının verileri, bu veriler ışığında yaptığımız analizler ve bu analizler neticesinde vardığımız sonuçlar ortaya koyulmuştur.
Speaking a foreign language is highly crucial in today’s world. That is why, the nations prepare programs, learning materials and syllabuses in order to teach foreign languages for their young generations in all degree of education. There are foreign language curriculums prepared for almost every level of education in our country as well. In Turkey, one of the languages being taught according to a curriculum is Arabic. Both official and non-official institutes teach this language in all levels. One of the official establishments teaching Arabic in Turkey is imam-hatip high school which has also foreign language prep classes.In this article theorical background of Arabic teaching curriculum in Omer Cam Anatolian Imam-Hatip Highschool will be examined together with Arabic teaching methods used in this curriculum, its syllabus as whole, materials of this program and the supporting activities for Arabic learning. After this examination data of the survey conducted to students who finished this program or are in the final degree of it will set forth with our analyzes over the data and the results we concluded from them.
