Publication: Antalya yöresi mimarisinde ahşap malzemenin kullanımı
Abstract
Pamfilya bölgesinin en önemli şehirlerinden biri olan Antalya, bulunduğu coğrafikonum itibariyle birçok önemli medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Gelişmemiş insanlıkuygarlığından günümüze kadar izleri bulunan ağaç işçiliği bu topraklarda da yerini alaraksanata dönüştürülmüştür.Bu çalışmada, Antalya ve yöresi mimarisinde sivil mimari dışındaki tarihi yapılarıntespiti yapılıp buralar da var olan ahşap işçilik incelenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Konumuzkapsamında Antalya Müzesi Etnografya Bölümü’nde ulaşılan dokuz eser de katalogçalışmasına dâhil edilmiştir. Her bir ahşap eser ait oldukları yapı, konum, süsleme ve tekniközellikleri kapsamında değerlendirilip anlatılmıştır. Ağırlıklı olarak cami ve mescitlerdeorijinalliğini günümüze kadar koruyabilmiş eserler yer aldığı için bu yapılar üzerindeyoğunlaşılmıştır. Ele alınan ahşap eserler teknik, süsleme ve üslup bakımından birbirine enyakın örnekler ile mukayese edilmiştir. Çalışmanın görsel olarak desteklenmesi için fotoğrafIIve çizimlere yer verilmiştir. İfade edilen yöntemlerle meydana getirilen “Antalya YöresiMimarisinde Ahşap Malzemenin Kullanımı” başlıklı çalışmamızla, bu bölgede ahşapsanatının kullanım alanları tespit edilip incelenerek ahşap sanatına katkıda bulunulmayaçalışılmıştır.
Antalya which is one of the most important cities of the Pamphylia region,geographically was home to a great number of civilisations. The woodworking that istraceable from the undeveloped civilization of humanity to the present day, was transformedinto art by finding its place in this land.In this study, historic structures in Antalya and its region (except the ones of civilarchitecture) were detected. Then the wood crafting that exists in these structures wereexamined and evaluated. Within the scope of the topic of this thesis, nine works that werereached in the ethnography division of Antalya Museum were included in the thesis catalog.Each wooden work was evaluated and described within the scope of structure, location,ornament and technical specifications that it belonged to. The study is concentrated onIVmosques and masjids since works that preserved their authenticity to the present daypredominantly are in these two types of structures. All wooden works that are studied in thisthesis were compared to works that are the most similar in terms of technique, ornament andpattern. Photographs and architectural drawings were used to support the study visually.Hence with this thesis that was brought into existence with methods that are statedabove, it is aimed to contribute to the wood art by detecting and examining its usage areas inAntalya and its region.
