Leontief Modellerinin Eğitim Programlarının Planlamasına Uygulanması

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Wassify Leontiefin fikirlerini temel alarak ekonomik sistemlerde kullanılan kapalı (girdi-çıktı) ve açık (üretim) iki lineer üretim modelini tanıtmak ve farklı bir alana uygulanabilirliğini göstermek için yapılmıştır. Leontief Modelleri, elemanları negatif olmayan matrisleri kullanılarak fiyat-denge yapısı ve talebin karşılanması için gerekli üretim dengesinin bulunmasında kullanılan modellerdir. Leontiefin ekonomi dalında yapmış olduğu çalışmalardaki metodoloji kullanılarak farklı alanlara uygulaması yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, uygulama alanı olarak Marmara Üniversitesi Teknik Eğitim Fakültesinde ders programlarının planlanmasında Leontief modelleri kullanılmıştır. Fakülte bölümlerinin ders yükleri ele alınmış, bölümler arası ve bölüm dışı olmak üzere ders taleplerine göre bölümlerin vermesi gereken ders saatleri bulunmuştur. Uygulama çözümlerinde matrisler arası hesaplama işlemleri için Mathematica ve Excel programlarından yararlanılmıştır.

In this paper, two different but related models which are based on the ideas of Nobel -laureate Wassily Leontief, the closed or input-output model and the open or production model, are examined. For Leontief Models, some results about nonnegative matrices are applied in order to determine equilibrium price structures and out-puts necessary to satisfy demand. Since Leontief s original work with the economy, various other applications of inputoutput models have been developed. In this work, Leontief models are applied to plan the curriculum of Technical Education Faculty of Marmara University. The courses load of departments and teaching staff are taken into account, then, according to the demands for courses among the departments and other faculties, the implementation of those courses by the teaching staff of related departments is evaluated. To solve the problem, software packages Mathematica and Excel are used to work with matrices.
