Publication: Mukâtil B. Süleyman ve Vâhidî'nin Esbâb-ı nüzûl rivayetlerinin mukayesesi
Abstract
Mukâtil b. Süleyman’ın tefsiri erken dönem tefsirleri içinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Diğer taraftan Vâhidî’nin Esbâb-ı nüzûli’l-Kur’ân’ı sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetleriyle ilgili müstakil olarak ele alınan eserler içinde en önde gelenidir. Çalışmamız sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetleri çerçevesinde söz konusu iki eser arasında bir mukayese şeklinde ele alınacaktır. Tezimiz giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde çalışmamızın konusu, amacı, yöntemi, kaynakları ve seçtiğimiz eserlerin müelliflerinin hayatlarından kısaca bahsedilmektedir. Birinci bölümde, ele aldığımız eserlerin tanıtımlarıyla birlikte, Mukâtil’in tefsirine ait çalışmamızda önemsediğimiz iki önemli husus olan; “rivayet-dirayet açısından Mukâtil’in tefsirinin durumu” ve “Mukâtil’in sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerinin diğer kaynaklar açısından durumu” konuları da incelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, bahse konu olan eserlerin kendilerine mahsus bazı özellikleri ve ikisine ait bazı ortak noktalara temas edilmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde, Vâhidî’nin kitabındaki bazı başlıkları ele aldık ve söz konusu başlık altındaki rivayetleri Mukâtil’in eserinde bulunan ilgili rivayetlerle karşılaştırarak değerlendirdik ve nihayet çalışmamızın sonucunu takdim ettik.
Muqātil b. Sulaymān’s tafsir has an important place among the early tafsir works. On the other hand, Wāhidī’s Asbāb-ı nuzûl al-Kur’ān is the earliest and best-known work for the occasions, reasons, and contexts for the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an. This study discussed in a comparative way between these two works focussing on the asbāb al-nuzūl narrations. This thesis consists of an introduction and three parts. In the introduction, the subject, purpose, method, sources of the study and the lives of the authors of the selected works are briefly mentioned. In the first chapter along with the introductions of the Works, we have discussed two important issues; The status of Muqātil’s tafsir in terms of ‘riwaya-diraya’ and The status of Muqātil’s asbāb al-nuzūl narations in comparison with other reliable sources. In the second part, we tried to specify some similarities and dissimilarities between the two work and analyze some characteristics of these two works. In the third chapter, we discussed some of the titles in Wāhidī’s book and evaluated the narrations under the aforementioned title by comparing them with the related narrations in Muqātil’s work, and finally presented the results of the study.
