Abstract

Bu çalışmada 2 numaralı Tophane Şeriye Sicilinin transkripsiyonu ve sicilin ait olduğu H.966-967/ M.1558-1560 yıllarında Tophane ve çevresinin siyasi, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda değerlendirme kısmı giriş başlığı altında bir bölümde ele alınmıştır. Giriş dört ana başlık ve bir sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Önce çalışmanın amacı, kapsamı ve yöntemi anlatılmıştır. Birinci başlıkta 2 numaralı Tophane Şeriye Sicili’nin fiziki ve muhteva özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci başlıkta Galata ve Tophane semtleri ile ilgili bilgiler ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü başlıkta Galata kadısı ve yardımcıları hakkında bilgi verilerek defterde bu kişilerle ilgili karşılaşılan durumlara yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü başlıkta ise çalışmamıza konu olan defterden yola çıkarak Tophane’de sosyal hayat ve nüfus yapısıyla ilgili bilgiler incelenmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise tüm bu bilgiler ışığında genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Tophane, Galata, şeriye sicili.

In this study, number two transcription of Tophane Shariyyah Sicil, and Tophane and its environment in the years H.966-967 / M. 1558-1560 cited in the records were evaluated politically, socially, economically and culturally. In this study, the evaluation part was addressed under the title of introduction. The introduction part consists of four headlines and a conclusion. First, the main purpose, the scope and methods of the study were explained. Under the first title, the physical and characteristic features of Tophane Shariyyah Sicil were handled. Under the second title, some information regarding Galata and Tophane neighbourhood was given. Under the third title, some information about Galata Judge and his assistants and some situations involving these people in the register were explained. Under the fourth title, starting with the register which is the main topic of our study, the social life and demography in Tophane were tackled. In the conclusion part, in the light of this information, a general evaluation was conducted. Key Words: Tophane, Galata, shariyyah sicil.
