Topsis yöntemi ile finansal performans değerlendirmesi ve hisse senedi getirisiyle ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Borsa İstanbul’da, (BİST) faaliyet gösteren gıda sektöründeki seçilmiş işletmelerin, finansal performansının TOPSİS yöntemi yardımıyla analiz etmektir. Analiz kapsamına dahil edilen işletmeler Ülker, Kerevitaş, Tat Gıda, Banvit, Konfrut, Merko, Tukaş, Penguen ve Vanet’dir. TOPSİS yöntemi uygulanırken; rasyo analizinde bulunan finansal oranlar kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamına alınan finansal oranlar: cari oran, asit test oranı, stok devir hızı, toplam aktif devir hızı, kaldıraç oranı, kısa vadeli yabancı kaynak oranı, net kar marjı ve özkaynak karlılığıdır. Bu oranlar vasıtasıyla TOPSİS skoru hesaplanarak, finansal performans tek bir puana çevrilmiştir.TOPSİS yöntemi diğer çalışmalardan farklı olarak, yılların ağırlıklara göre değiştiği ve ağırlıkların sabit kaldığı olmak üzere her yıl için iki kez hesaplanmıştır. Daha sonra bu sonuçlardan hareketle; aldıkları TOPSİS puanına göre bu şirketlerden iki ayrı portföy oluşturulmuştur. Bu portföylerin 1.si en yüksek TOPSİS puanına sahip olan şirketler olurken, 2.si daha düşük TOPSİS skoruna sahip olan şirketlerden seçilmiştir. Sonuç olarak TOPSİS skoru yüksek olan şirketlerin, daha düşük TOPSİS skoru olan şirketlere göre, daha yüksek getiri elde ettiği görülmüştür.

The aim of this study is to analyze the financial performance of the food industry selected enterprises operating in Borsa Istanbul (BİST) by the use of the TOPSİS method. The companies included in this analysis are Ülker, Kerevitaş, Tat Gıda, Banvit, Konfrut, Merko, Tukaş, Penguen and Vanet. When applying TOPSİS method;financial ratios used in ratio analysis. Financial ratios included in this study are: current ratio, acid test rate, stock turnover rate, total asset turnover rate, leverage ratio, short term foreign currency ratio, net profit margin and return on equity. By the use of these ratios, the TOPSİS score was calculated and the financial performance was converted to a single score. Unlike the other studies;TOPSİS method has been calculated twice for each year, where the weights change according to years and the weights remain constant. Then, based on these results; according to the TOPSİS score, two separate portfolios were created from these companies. The top 1 of these portfolios are the companies with the highest TOPSİS score, while the second one is selected from the companies with the lower TOPSİS score. As a result, companies with high TOPSİS scores had higher returns than companies with lower TOPSİS scores.
