Publication: Hakikat sonrası çağda yalan haber üzerinden söylem analizi : Twıtter örneği
Abstract
Toplumsal ve siyasi alanda popüler bir kavram olan “hakikat sonrası”, hakikatin önemini yitirdiğini, bireylerin karar verirken ya da bir konu üzerinde kanaat getirirken doğrunun, nesnel gerçeklikler yerine duygularla, inançlarla belirlenmesidir. Hakikat sonrası çağda, bireyin iyi hissetmesi onun önceliğidir. Dolayısıyla gerçekliğin önemini yitirmesi kadar bireyin çıkarına uygun bir gerçeklik, doğruluk arayışına yönelmesi de söz konusudur. 2019 Yerel Seçimlerinde Yüksek Seçim Kurulu, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanlığı seçimini iptal ederek yeniden yapılmasına karar vermiştir. Seçimin iptal olmasıyla beraber toplum genelinde bir belirsizlik durumu meydana gelmiştir. Hakikat sonrası çağın koşulları altında, bir konu hakkında belirsizlik yaşandığında gerçek dışı haberlerin dolaşımı için elverişli bir ortam meydana gelmektedir. Seçimlerin iptal olduğu günden itibaren yeniden yapılan seçimlere kadar sosyal medyada çok sayıda yalan haber dolaşıma girmiştir. Bu araştırmada 31 Mart 2019 tarihinde gerçekleşen yerel seçimlerin ardından tekrarlanan İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanlığı seçimi döneminde dolaşıma giren, medya kuruluşlarının Twitter hesaplarında paylaşılan tweet’ler seçilmiştir. Söz konusu tweet’ler iki kategoride incelenecektir. Birinci kategoride Cumhuriyet Gazetesi, Tele 1 ve Halk TV haber kanalları bulunurken ikinci kategoride ise Takvim Gazetesi, A Haber kanalı ile Yeni Akit Gazetesi yer almaktadır. Söz konusu tweet’lerin, eleştirel söylem analizi ile çözümlemesi yapılacaktır. Dolayısıyla araştırma, ideolojilerin etkisinde kalan medya kuruluşları tarafından yapılan haberlerin tweet’lerinden hareketle yerel seçim döneminde yaşanan toplumsal kutuplaşma ortamını göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
“Post-truth”, which is a popular concept in the social and political field, is the determination of the truth by feelings and beliefs instead of objective realities when individuals decide or make an opinion on a subject. In the post-truth age, the individual's well-being is his priority. Therefore, as much as the fact that reality loses its importance, it is also possible for the individual to turn to the search for a reality and truth that is in his interest. In the 2019 Local Elections, the Supreme Election Board decided to cancel the Istanbul Metropolitan Mayoral election and make it again. With the cancellation of the election, a situation of uncertainty has occurred throughout the society. Under the conditions of the post-truth era, a favorable environment for the circulation of untrue news emerges when there is uncertainty about a topic. From the day the elections were canceled until the re-elections, a lot of fake news was circulated on social media. In this research, tweets shared on Twitter accounts of media organizations, which were circulated during the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality election period, which was repeated after the local elections held on March 31, 2019, were selected. Tweets will be examined in two categories. Tweets will be analyzed with critical discourse analysis. Therefore, the research aims to show the social polarization environment experienced during the local election period, based on the tweets of the news made by the media organizations under the influence of ideologies.
