Cenabi Mustafa Efendi, Dürr-İ Meknun ve Sırr-ı Masun (inceleme ve çeviri metin vr:1b-107a)

Abstract

Cenȃbî Mustafa Efendi, Dürr-i Meknûn ve Sırr-ı Masûn adlı eserini Osmanlı Sultanı III. Muradʼın (ö.1595) isteği üzerine meydana getirmiştir. Eser, Hz. Peygamberʼin hayatından başlayarak III. Murad devri tarihini de içine alacakşekilde tertip edilmiştir. Kapsamı itibariyle Ortaçağ İslȃm tarihi ile ilgili değerli bilgiler ihtiva etmektedir.Tezimiz, söz konusu eserde Hulefâ-yi Râşidîn, Emevîler, Abbâsîler, Fȃtımîler, Haşîşiyye, Mekke ve Medine Şürefȃsı, İdrisîler, Hammȗdîler, Tabatabaîler, Garp Şürefȃsı ve Fas, Saffârîler, Sâmânîler, Gaznelîler, Gurlular, Ziyârîler ve Büveyhîlerin yer aldığı bölümlerden oluşmaktadır. Eserde, mezkûr devletler özet biçimde, hükümdar hükümdar işlenmiştir. İlaveten metin içerisinde sıklıkla başvurulmuş olan âyet ve hadîsler, Arapça-Farsça dua ve şiirler, o dönemlerde adlarından söz ettirmiş büyük âlimler ile içeriğin derinleştirildiği dikkat çekmektedir. Dürr-i Meknûn ve Sırr-ı Masûn, bu yönleriyle Ortaçağ İslâm dünyasının siyasî ve sosyal durumu hakkında çok zengin olmasa da genel hatlarıyla bir çerçeve çizmiştir.

Cenâbî Mustafa Efendi has composed his treaty Durr-i Meknun ve Sırr-ı Masun upon the request of Ottoman Sultan III. Murad. (d.1595) This work has been started from the Prophet Muhammad’s life and it ended with the last days of the Sultan Murad’s reign. Considering the content this is including very important information regarding the period of Medieval Islam.This thesis consists some parts of Durr-i Meknun ve Sırr-ı Masun and such as Hulefa-yi Rasidin, Umayyads, bbasids, Fatimids, Assassins, Mecca and Madinah Şurefass, İdrisids, Hammudids, Tabatabas, Garp Şurefass and Morocco, affarids, Samanids, Ghaznavîds, Gurids, Ziyarids and Buyids. In the Cenâbî Mustafa Efendi’s work generally entioned the former states and narrated the reign of sultan one by one. In addition to the history of these states the author usually quoted verses, hadith, Arabic, Persian praying and poets during his work and he also presents the ideas of scholars which lived in this period. Although the limited content this work draws a picture regarding the political and social condition of the Medieval Islam.
