Klasik Osmanlı minyatüründe havuz imgesi

Abstract

Tarihsel süreçte medeniyetlerin gelişiminde büyük bir rol oynayan su, havuz mimarisinin gelişimindeki önemli etmenlerden biri olmuştur. Eski çağlardan itibaren Yakın Doğu’da havuzlar ile birlikte bahçe mimarisinin de bir atılım gösterdiği anlaşılmaktadır. İslâm mimarisinde, önceki medeniyetlerin de etkisiyle varlık gösteren ve giderek bir cennet tasavvuru halini alan bahçeler Osmanlı mimarisinde de çeşitli şekillerde imar edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı minyatürünün klasik üslup özelliklerinin ortaya çıktığı dönemde üretilmiş yazmalarda görülen havuz tasvirleri; mekân, plan, tipoloji ve su ile ilişkileri yönünden değerlendirilmiş ve farklı üsluplar ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Böylece Osmanlı nakkaşlarının havuz formlarında kendilerine özgü tercihleri olduğu ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Water, which played a major role in the development of civilizations throughout history, has been one of the important factors in the development of pool architecture. In the Near East, it is understood that the elements of the garden architecture with the pools has shown a breakthrough since ancient times.The gardens, which emerged with the influence of previous civilizations in the Islamic architecture and gradually became a vision of heaven, were built in various ways in Ottoman architechture.In this study, pool depictions seen the manuscripts produced in the classical style of Ottoman miniature are evaluated in terms of space, plan, typology and relations with water and compared with different regional styles. Thus, the preferences of the Ottoman painters in the pool forms are examined.
