Osmanlı belgeleri için bir üstveri standardı çalışması: Meşihat arşivi örneği

Abstract

Arşivciliğin en temel prensipleri düzenleme ve tanımlamadır. Düzenleme, arşivbelgelerinin ait olduğu kurumun, kurumsal ve fonksiyonel ilişkilerini gösterecekbiçimde, provenans yöntemi uyarınca, organize edilmesi işlemi olarak tanımlanır.Bununla beraber, arşiv malzemesi başka fonlara bölünmemeli, orijinal düzenindenayrılmamalıdır. Bu prensipten hareketle tezimizde, koleksiyonunda Osmanlı belgesibulunduran arşivlerin belgelerini düzenlerken uyguladığı yöntemler araştırılmışt veözelde de Meşihat Arşivideğerlendirilmiştir. Meşihat Arşivi’nin belgelerinin arşivciliğintemel prensiplerinden orijinal düzen ve provenans prensiplerine göre düzenlenmediğibelirlenmiştir.

The basic principles of archival are arrangement and description. Arrangement isdefined as the process of organizing according to the provenance method, in such a waythat institutional and functional relations of institution which the archival recordsbelong. Nevertheless, the archival material should not be divided into different fondsand should not be separeted from the original order. Taking this definition in toaccound, the archives containing Ottoman records in their collections have beensearched by their arrangement methods. It has been determined that the records ofMeşihat archivals are not arranged according to the original order and provenanceprinciples that are defined as the basic principles.
