Yeniçağa (Bolu) yöresinin geleneksel halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkileri

Abstract

Yeniçağa (Bolu) Yöresinin Geleneksel Halk İlacı Olarak Kullanılan BitkileriAmaç: Bu çalışmada Bolu’ nun çeşitli kültürel zenginliklere sahip, merkezi bir konumda yer alan, yöre halkının bitkilerle iç içe olduğu, zengin bitki örtüsü ve iklim koşullarına sahip, daha önce araştırma yapılmamış Yeniçağa ilçesinin araştırılmasının yararlı olacağı düşünülmüş ve bu sebeple Yeniçağa ilçesinde halkın geleneksel halk ilacı olarak kullandığı bitkilerin saptanması ve derlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu araştırmada Mayıs 2017 ile Eylül 2018 arasında Mayıs, Haziran, Temmuz, Ağustos ve Eylül ayları içerisinde toplam 25 günlük arazi çalışması yapılmıştır. Bu arazi çalışmalarında Yeniçağa ilçesindeki 3 belde ile 16 köye gidilerek yörede halk ilacı olarak kullanılan bitkilerden örnekler toplanmıştır. Toplanan bitkiler birer herbaryum örneği haline getirilmiştir. Bu örnekler ‘Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands’ (Davis, 1965-1985; Davis ve ark., 1988; Güner ve ark., 2000) adlı eserden faydalanılarak teşhis edilmiş ve Latince adları saptanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma yöresinden toplanan 165 adet bitki örneğinin teşhis edilmesi sonucunda 93 taksonun geleneksel halk ilacı olarak kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Bunlar içerisinden 91’ i yabani, 2’ si ise yörede kültürü yapılan bitkilerdir. Bu taksonlar ve tedavide yer alan yöresel kullanılışları metinde belirtilmiştir. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, yörede kaydedilen bitkilerden en çok yara tedavisinde, soğuk algınlığında, sakinleştirici ve yorgunluk giderici olarak, şeker hastalığında, ishale karşı ve ağrı kesici olarak yararlanıldığı saptanmıştır.

Folk Medicinal Plants of Yeniçağa (Bolu)Objective: In this study, it was thought that it would be beneficial to investigate Yeniçağa district of Bolu, which has a variety of cultural riches, located in a central location, where the local people are intertwined with plants, rich vegetation and climatic conditions, which have been researched before and for this reason, it was aimed to identify and compile the plants used by the people as a traditional folk medicine in Yeniçağa district.Material and Methods: In this research, between May 2017-September 2018, in May, June, July, August and September, a total of 25 days of field work was carried out in the region. In these field studies, 3 towns and 16 villages in Yeniçağa district were visited and samples of plants used as folk medicine were collected. The collected plants were made into a herbarium sample. These samples were identified by using book ‘Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands’ (Davis, 1965-1985; Davis et al., 1988; Güner et al., 2000) and their Latin names were determined. Results: As a result of the identification of 165 plant samples collected from the region, 93 species were found to be used as traditional folk medicine. 91 of them are wild and 2 are cultivated in the region. These taxa and local uses of them in treatment are specified in the text.Conclusion: It is found out that, these plants are mostly used in wound treatment, colds, calming and relieving fatigue, diabetes, diarrhea and pain reliever in the region.
