Abstract
Bu yüksek lisans tez çalışmasında dünyanın en eski mesleklerinden biri olan Aktörlük Sanatının, Antik Yunan’dan itibaren birçok önemli tarihsel süreçleri ele alınarak incelenecek, oyunculuk yaklaşımları, oyuncunun kimliği ve konumu, sahne ve film oyunculuğu, oyuncuseçimi, yönetmen ve oyuncu ilişkisi, oyunculuğun dönüşümü, oyunculuk teknikleri vs. gibi durumlar araştırma konusu olmakla birlikte XXI. Yüzyılın en usta oyuncu eğitmenlerinden olan Ivana Chubbuck tekniğine de ışık tutulacaktır. Başlangıçta Dionysos şenliklerindeki koroyla doğuşunu gerçekleştiren bu sanat, öncelikle tiyatro oyunları, daha sonra ise film türlerine göre şekillenmeye başladığından, çalışmada aktör açısından hem teknik anlamda hem de mevcut yapısı nedeniyle temel ilkeleri farklı olan film ve tiyatro oyunculuğunun, kendi avantaj ve dezavantajları da karşılaştırılacaktır. Bu doğrultuda role hazırlık süreciyle birlikte dünyaca ve ülkece başarılı film ve tiyatro yönetmenlerinin aktörlük sanatıyla ilgili fikirleri de çalışmada yer alacaktır. Son olarak ise Hollywood’un en çok aranılan oyuncu koçu, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Elisabeth Shue, Halle Berry, Eva Mendes gibi parlak isimler de dahil olmak üzeredünyanın her yerinden birçok oyuncuyu eğiten Ivana Chubbuck’ın geliştirdiği ve kendi soyadını verdiği oyunculuk tekniği ele alınacaktır.
This master's thesis aims to examine one of the oldest professions in the world, the art of acting, by exploring significant historical processes from Ancient Greece to the present. It will cover topics such as acting approaches, the identity and position of the actor, stage and film acting, casting, the director-actor relationship, the evolution of acting, and acting techniques. Additionally, the study will shed light on the acting technique developed by one of the most renowned acting coaches of the 21st century, Ivana Chubbuck. Initially emerging with the chorus in Dionysian festivals, this art form first took shape through theater plays and later adapted to various film genres. In this study, the advantages and disadvantages of film and theater acting, which differ in terms of their technical aspectsand inherent structures, will be compared from an actor's perspective. The preparation process for a role, along with the views of globally successful film and theater directors on the art of acting, will also be included. Lastly, the acting technique developed by Ivana Chubbuck, one of Hollywood's most sought-after acting coaches, who has trained many actors from around the world, includingfamous names such as Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Elisabeth Shue, Halle Berry, and Eva Mendes, will be analyzed.
