Publication: Judoda farklı tırmanma antrenmanlarının çekiş ve el kavramakuvveti üzerine etkisi
Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of judogi rope exercises and climbing ladder exercises used in sports rock climbing on judoists' hand grip, pinhcing, dynamic and static pulling strength.Material and Methods:In this study, who have been continuing the judo training for at least 2 years;age (13.67 ± 0.8 years),height (161.5 ± 6.7cm),mean body weight; (58.2 ± 11.6kg).Total; Thirty male licensed judo athletes participated in the study. The research group was divided into two groups; the first group is ; climbing ladder group, the second group is Judogi rope climbing. The first group using the climbing ladder; the second group used Judogi rope climbing training. The duration of the study was 8 weeks. In addition to judo training, both groups had planned climbing training 3 days a week.Judogi traction test, hand grip strength test, finger pressure test, judogi isometric hanging test and judogi dynamic traction test were applied to both groups as pre and post test.Result: There was a statistically significant difference between a climbing ladder and judogi rope climbing group, hand grip strength, pulling strength, pinching pressure, levels in favor of climbing ladder training group. (P <0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in judogi pull-up and judogi isometric hanging forces (p> 0.05).Conclusion:In addition to judo training, climbing ladder training was found to improve judo hand grip and traction performance positively.
