İsmâil Müfîd Efendi’nin Şerhu’ş-Şemâʾili’n-Nebeviyye isimli eserinin tahkik ve tahlili

Abstract

Şemâil, hadis ilminin önemli konularından biridir. Çünkü şemâil, Hz. Peygamber’in huy, mizaç, karakter ve fiziksel özelliklerinden bahseder. Tirmizî’nin eş-Şemâʾilü’n-nebeviyye isimli eseri kısa ve öz olmasına ragmen bu alanda kaleme alınan en önemli eserler arasında gösterilmektedir. Kitap, Hz. Peygamber’in hayatına dair 400 kadar hadisi ihtiva eder. Her devirde İslâm âlimlerinin ilgi gösterdiği eseri bazı alimler şerh ederken bazıları ihtisar etmiş, bazıları ise onu nazmetmiştir. Yapılan şerhlerin sayısı 100’ü aşkın olmasına rağmen tespit edilebildiği kadarıyla tahkik edilenlerin sayısı onu geçmemektedir. İmam Tirmizî’nin eş-Şemâʾilü’n-nebeviyye isimli eserine dair yaptığımız ön araştırma sonucunda İsmâil Müfîd Efendi’ye ait bir şerhin varlığını tespit ettik. Bu şerh, veciz üslûbunun yanı sıra eş-Şemâʾilü’n-nebeviyye üzerine yapılan yedi şerhin özeti olması bakımından ayrıca önem arz etmektedir. Şu ana kadar üzerinde herhangi bir çalışma yapılmayan bu eseri, gün yüzüne çıkarmak ve ilim ehlinin istifadesine sunmak amacıyla tahkik etmeye karar verdik. Yaptığımız araştırmalar sonucunda İsmâil Müfîd Efendi’ye ait olan bu eserin müellif hattı ile yazılmış tek bir nüshasının olduğunu tespit ettik. Bu nüsha, 1203 hicrî senesinde yazılmış olup, 143 varaktan müteşekkildir. Tez çalışmasında ilk olarak Şemâil ilminin tarifi, konusu ve bu alanda yazılmış kitaplar, daha sonra İmam Tirmizî’nin hayatı, ilmi kişiliği ile eseri hakkında bilgiler verilecektir. Ardından çalışmanın ana konusu olan İsmâil Müfîd Efendi’nin hayatı ve eserleri ve Şerh’i tanıtılacaktırThe science of Prophet Muhammad’s traits is one of the background sciences of hadith, because it studies the moral,ethical and physical descriptions of the Prophet, and It is an important part in the chapters of the Sunnah, because in Prophet’s biography, thoughts, qualities and morals the principles of Islam and its ideals are embodied in various aspects of life, and the book of Al-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah complied by Imam al-Tirmizi is considered one of the most famous collection of hadiths detailing the moral, physical, and spiritual perfections of the Prophet Muhammad this perennial masterpiece connects hearts to the Prophet's blessed. as it includes nearly four hundred hadiths that comprehensively cover all aspects of his life. With it, how many explainers, organizers and summaries, have reached an explanation, and with regret, the investigator and the circulating do not exceed one-tenth of this number, and the subject of my letter is to study the explanation of Sheikh Ismail Mufid Effendi of the Book of Al-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyya. During my study and my research of the explanations of the Prophet’s traits , I found a very important explanation, the explanation of Sheikh Ismail due to its leniency and being a summary. Determined to investigate this explanation. It consists of 143 sheets of paper. and it is a valuable copy in an authored script copied in 1203 AH. I will do the study section: introducing the science of the prophetic merits, explaining its topic, the emergence of codification in it, the works that were commissioned in it and the curricula of their authors. Then we will talk about the book of the Prophet's merits by al-Tirmidhi in terms of its name, its subject, the methodology of its author and the care of scholars about it, then I will briefly mention the translation of the commentator with a brief overview of his books and his approach in the book with analysis and criticism
