Abstract
Bu metinde, John Naisbitt’in yüksek teknoloji toplumlarındaki teknolojik olarak
zehirlenmiş bölgeleri tanımlamak için geliştirdiği teknolojik zehirlenme
nosyonundan hareketle siyasal zehirlenme nosyonu geliştirilmiştir. Siyasal
dijital olgular listesine dahil edilebilir.
In this text, the notion of political intoxication has been developed based on the notion of technologically intoxication developed by John Naisbitt to describe technologically intoxication zones in high-tech societies. Political intoxication is a state of social anomaly that affects all social processes, and its symptoms can be detected and diagnosed beforehand; It politicizes even apolitical processes in an extreme, intense and rapid manner. The political intoxication and its symptoms described in this text can be easily detected in media, communication, and religion, especially in bureaucracy. Because these institutions are more open to extreme politicization in relation to its own historical background. A society that exhibits all the symptoms is like a body contaminated and infected with the virus; paralyzed, it cannot fulfill its expected functions. These six completely observable symptoms also define the level of politicization of the personal and apolitical and the intensity of political intoxication. Moreover, it makes the effect of excessive politicization on social media and social relations visible in the technological context. Social media is not immune to political intoxication, although it differs from mainstream media with its horizontal architecture and interactivity characters. Powerful, widespread, and popular political effect is poisoning individuals and institutions through mass communication channels and social media profiles, as well as high virtuality technologies that poison their users. Political intoxication is not only spread by internet-based communication technologies, it also poisons the media itself. The results obtained in this study, which focuses on the relationship between technology and politics, show that political intoxication is a process that runs parallel to widespread internet networks and technological intoxication. Therefore, the notion of political intoxication can be included in the list of new types of socio-technical and digital phenomena.
