The structures were established by spectral and chemical methods.Publication Metadata only 5-(4-AMINOPHENYL)-4-SUBSTITUTED-2,4-DIHYDRO-3H-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE-3-THIONES - SYNTHESIS AND ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITIES(GOVI-VERLAG GMBH, 1993) ROLLAS, S; KALYONCUOGLU, N; SURALTINER, D; YEGENOGLU, YPublication Open Access A 60-year-old man with bilateral painful reticular patches of violaceous colour on the soles(2013) Tekin B., Sariçam M.H., Özgen Z., Demirkesen C., Komesli Z., Arikan I.H.[No abstract available]Publication Open Access A meta-analysis of positive airway pressure treatment for cardiovascular prevention: Why mix apples and pears?(BMJ Publishing Group, 2017-12) Peker Y., Strollo P.J.[No abstract available]Publication Metadata only A NEW RETRACTOR FOR THE ANTERIOR CERVICAL APPROACH(CARFAX PUBL CO, 1994) OZER, AF; ZIRH, TAPublication Metadata only A RAPID AND SIMPLE ISOLATION OF ENDOTHELIAL-CELL GROWTH SUPPLEMENT FROM MOUSE-BRAIN(PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD, 1995) SAHIN, S; AKOGLU, T; LAWRENCE, R; SEN, LSIn-vitro studies using endothelial cells are mainly performed using endothelial cell monolayer cultures (ECC) prepared from umblical cord vein endothelium and grown in tissue culture flasks. These cultures requires growth supplements to promote endothelial cell growth. A specific endothelial cell growth factor (ECGF) was extracted from bovine brain (1,2), gene has been cloned and the nucleotid sequence described (3). Commercially available ECGF for use as endothelial cell culture supplement however, is still produced for convenience from bovine brain. We have developed a simple and rapid method of EC growth supplement production which is considerably cheaper and as effective as the commercially available ECG supplements.Publication Metadata only A SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF BACLOFEN(GOVI-VERLAG PHARMAZEUTISCHER VERLAG GMBH, 1985) ERSOY, LPublication Metadata only ALKALOIDS AND COUMARINS FROM RUTA-CHALEPENSIS(PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD, 1986) ULUBELEN, A; TEREM, B; TUZLACI, E; CHENG, KF; KONG, YCPublication Metadata only ARRESTED PUBERTY ASSOCIATED WITH APOPLECTIC PROLACTINOMA IN A MALE-ADOLESCENT(SPRINGER VERLAG, 1995) KULALI, A; EREL, C; MEMIS, M; SAV, AWe report a case of ''apoplectic pituitary adenoma'' associated with puberty in an adolescent. The patient was unaware that he harbored a pituitary adenoma at the onset of his apoplectic episode. The adenoma was endocrinologically and histologically classified as a prolactinoma. Preoperative endocrine disturbances and subjective complaints improved immediately after surgeryPublication Metadata only AUTOIGNITION TENDENCIES OF SOME TURKISH LIGNITES(BUTTERWORTH-HEINEMANN LTD, 1993) UNAL, S; PISKIN, S; DINCER, SThe relative autoignition tendencies of five Turkish lignites were determined by an adaptation of the ACIRL crossing-point method. A relation was observed between the crossing point and the difference between the volatile matter and moisture contents of the five lignites, similar to that shown by Australian coals.Publication Metadata only BETA-THALASSEMIA IN IRAN - A HIGH-INCIDENCE OF THE NONSENSE CODON-39 MUTATION ON THE ISLAND OF QUESHM(INFORMA HEALTHCARE, 1994) NOORIDALOII, MR; MOAZAMI, N; FARHANGI, S; ATALAY, A; GEREN, IN; AKAR, L; ATALAY, EO; CIRAKOGLU, B; BERMEK, EPublication Metadata only Boston’dan başlayan yolculuk: Akan hücre ölçer cihazında hücre içi boyama ile protein ekspresyonu deneyimi(Turkish Society of Immunology, 2015) Öğülür İ.[No abstract available]Publication Metadata only BRUCELLAR SPONDYLITIS MIMICKING LUMBAR DISC HERNIATION - CASE-REPORT(STOCKTON PRESS, 1995) KILIC, T; OZER, AF; OZGEN, S; PAMIR, MNIn this paper, a patient with brucellar spondylitis who was initially diagnosed as having a lumbar disc herniation is presented. As the disc tissue enlarges in the early stages of discitis because of the inflammatory reaction, it may compress the related root(s) mimicking a disc herniation. For this reason infectious discitis, as in our case, should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of the radicular symptoms caused by a disc herniation. The crucial role of magnetic resonance imaging in making the differential diagnosis of the case is especially emphasized.Publication Metadata only Publication Metadata only Publication Metadata only CLINICAL-EVALUATION OF LOW-DOSE INTRADERMALLY ADMINISTERED HEPATITIS-B VACCINE - A COMPARISON OF PLASMA-DERIVED AND RECOMBINANT YEAST-DERIVED VACCINES(BUTTERWORTH-HEINEMANN LTD, 1992) SOYLETIR, G; BAHCECI, E; AKOGLU, E; SOYOGUL, U; LAWRANCE, RAA study of the safety and immunogenicity of plasma-derived and yeast-derived recombinant hepatitis B vaccines administered by the intradermal route is reported. Three groups of medical students were inoculated intradermally at 0, 1 and 6 months with 2-mu-g of vaccine. Group 1 (n = 24) were administered plasma-derived vaccine (Green Cross HB-vaccine), group 2 (n = 21) yeast-derived recombinant vaccine (Engerix B), and group 3 (n = 13) two doses of plasma-derived vaccine with a third dose of yeast-derived vaccine. One month after administration of the third dose of vaccine, seroconversion rates in each of the three groups were 83, 100 and 92%, respectively, with anti-HBs geometric mean titres (GMT) of 329 IU l-1, 1390 IU l-1 and 1061 IU l-1. Although differences in seroconversion rates were not statistically significant, the GMT in group 1 was significantly lower than that in group 2 (p < 0.01) and group 3 (p < 0.05). The results presented show that intradermal administration of plasma-derived or yeast-derived vaccine, or a combination of the two, can provoke an effective immunogenic response to hepatitis B virus at approximately 10% of the cost of intramuscular vaccination. In this study administration of yeast-derived vaccine yielded better results than plasma-derived vaccine when administered by the intradermal route.Publication Metadata only COMPARISON OF HPLC AND DERIVATIVE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF PARACETAMOL (ACETAMINOPHEN) AND ACETYLSALICYLIC-ACID IN TABLETS(GOVI-VERLAG GMBH, 1992) USTUN, M; SUNGUR, S; ERSOY, LPublication Metadata only COMPARISON OF HPLC AND DERIVATIVE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF PARACETAMOL AND CAFFEINE IN TABLETS(GOVI-VERLAG GMBH, 1991) YURDAKUL, G; ERSOY, L; SUNGUR, SPublication Metadata only COMPUTED-TOMOGRAPHY AND MAGNETIC-RESONANCE-IMAGING IN 3 PATIENTS WITH TOLOSA-HUNT SYNDROME(KARGER, 1993) AKTAN, S; AYKUT, C; ERZEN, CThree patients with Tolosa-Hunt syndrome were examine by computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). CT of the brain did not reveal any definite abnormality in any of the patients. MRI demonstrated an abnormal soft tissue area in the cavernous sinus in only 1 patient. There was clinical improvement after corticosteroid therapy. MRI is mandatory for demonstrating lesions in the cavernous sinus or in the superior orbital fissure in patients with THS.Publication Metadata only CONCOMITANT ROTATOR CUFF TEAR AND BRACHIAL-PLEXUS INJURY IN ASSOCIATION WITH ANTERIOR SHOULDER DISLOCATION - UNHAPPY TRIAD OF THE SHOULDER(LIPPINCOTT-RAVEN PUBL, 1994) GUVEN, O; AKBAR, Z; YALCIN, S; GUNDES, HHigh incidences of nerve lesions or rotator cuff tears in association with shoulder dislocations have been reported. However, the simultaneous occurrence of these three lesions has only been reported once previously. This case is an example of a not so uncommon injury, which emphasizes the importance of looking for associated brachial plexus and rotator cuff lesions when examining a patient with shoulder dislocation.
