Abstract
Bu araştırmada ergenlerde psikolojik iyi oluş ve duygusal özerklik arasındaki ilişkide anne baba tutumlarının
etkisini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma İstanbul’un Tuzla ilçesinde yer alan ortaöğretim kurumlarından
9., 10., 11. ve 12. sınıflarında öğrenimine devam eden 257'si (%55,6) kız, 205’i (%44,4) erkek olmak üzere toplam
462 lise öğrencisi üzerinde gerçekleşmiştir. Ergen bireylerin iyi oluş seviyelerine dair veriler için EPOCH
(Ergenlerde Beş Boyutlu İyi Oluş Modeli) Ölçeği, duygusal özerklik seviyelerine ilişkin veriler için "Duygusal
Özerklik Ölçeği", anne ve babasından algıladıkları tutumu ölçmek için “Anne-Baba Tutum Ölçeği” ve kişisel
veriler için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. Aracılık analizinde Pearson
Momentler Korelasyon Katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda psikolojik iyi oluşun, kabul/ilgi alt
boyutu ile pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişkiye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Aynı zamanda psikolojik iyi
oluş ile duygusal özerklik arasında da pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal özerklik
ile Kabul/İlgi alt boyutu arasında da yine pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Bu bulgular,
aracılık analizinin ilk varsayımının sağlandığını kanıtlar niteliktedir. Psikolojik iyi oluşun, Psikolojik Özerklik ve
Denetleme alt boyutları ile anlamlı ilişkisi bulunmamıştır. Araştırmanın bir diğer bulgusu olarak, duygusal
özerklik ile psikolojik iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkide anne-baba kabul ilgi puanlarının aracı rolü olduğu saptanmıştır.
This research aims to reveal the impact of parental attitudes on the relationship between psychological well-being and emotional autonomy in adolescents. The study was conducted on 462 high school students, 257 (55.6%) female and 205 (44.4%) male, studying in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 in secondary schools in the Tuzla district of Istanbul. The “EPOCH (Five-Dimensional Well-Being Model for Adolescents) Scale” was used to obtain data on the levels of well-being of adolescent individuals, the “Emotional Autonomy Scale” was used to obtain data on their levels of emotional autonomy, the “Parental Attitude Scale” was used to measure their perception of parental attitudes, and the “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researcher was used to collect personal data. Pearson's Moment Correlation Coefficient was used in the mediation analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that psychological well-being had a moderately significant positive relationship with the Acceptance/Interest sub-dimension. At the same time, a moderately significant positive relationship was found between psychological well-being and emotional autonomy. A positive moderate significant relationship was also found between emotional autonomy and the Acceptance/Interest sub-dimension. These findings indicate that the first assumption of the mediation analysis is fulfilled. There was no significant relationship between psychological well-being and the Psychological Autonomy and Control sub-dimensions. Another finding of the study was that the mediator role of parent acceptance and interest scores in the relationship between emotional autonomy and psychological well-being.
