Abstract
Bu çalışmada, 5237 sayılı TCKnun 216 ncı maddesinde yer alan dini değerleri aşağılama suçu incelenmiştir. Maddede halkın bir kesiminin benimsediği dini değerleri alenen aşağılayan kişinin, fiilin kamu barışını bozmaya elverişli olması halinde altı aydan bir yıla kadar hapis cezası ile cezalandırılacağı öngörülmüştür.
In this study, the crime of insulting religious values which takes place in the Article 216 of Turkish Penal Code, was examined. In this article, Any person who publicly disrespects the religious belief of group is punished with imprisonment from six months to one year if such act causes potential risk for public peace.
