Abstract

Gelenek, bir kelimenin taşıması mümkün olan bütün kapsamı taşıyan ve bu yüzden anlam kapasitesi en geniş kavramlardan biridir. Bu geniş anlam kapasitesi, kapsadığı unsurların çokluğu ölçüsünde de tenkite maruz kalmasına sebep olmuştur. İçerdiği bu anlam dünyası; dinden bilime, sanattan örf-adetlere ve bu çalışmada değineceğimiz nihai kavram olan hurafeye kadar geniş bir yelpazeyi içermektedir. Bunların hepsini kapsadığını kabul ettiğimiz gelenek, geçmişle bugün arasında bağ kuran ve geçmişin izini bize taşıyan yegâne yapıdır. Ve en nihayetinde hurafeleri de kapsayan yapı olarak gelenekler, bugün bizce makul olsun ya da olmasın, kültürel mirası ifade eder. Tradition ise one of the broadest concepts of a Word that has all the possible scope to carry, and therefore has capacity for meaning. This board meaning capacity has caused to come under criticisim, according to the exent of the elements it covers. This semantic world includes a wide range of subjects from religion to science, from art to custom, and also superstition which is the final concept that we will discuss in this study. The tradition that we accept it covers all of these subjects, is the only structure that connects the past with the present and brings the trace of the past to us. Lastly, traditions as structures, including superstitions, express cultural heritage, whether it is reasonable to us or not today.
