Publication: Platon'da mitolojik düşünce ve "er" mitosu
Abstract
Bu makalede Platon'un mitoloji düşüncesini tartışmak istiyorum, burada Platon'un baş yapıtlarından biri olan Republic ( Cumhuriyet) 'in de ela aldığı er mitolojisini analiz edeceğim. Bunun yanında Platon'un felsefi sisteminde mit ve mitolojik düşüncenin yerini belirlemeye çalışacağım onun diğer kitaplarında kaydedilen mitolojik hikayeleri gibi er miti olarak gösterilen Platon'un eskatoloji kavramını özel bir dikkat göstermeye çalışacağım.
In this article I would like to discuss Plato's conception of myth. I am going to analyze the famous "Er" myth which is employed by Plato in one of his major works, The Republic. And I am going to try to identify the place of myth and mythological thought in Plato's philosophical system. I am going to pay special attention to Plato's conception of eschatology as displayed in the "Er" myth as well as other mythological stories recorded in his other works.
