Abstract
dahil edildi. Çalışmalar tanımlayıcı istatistik analiz
yöntemleri ile irdelendi.
Bulgular: Kriterlere uygun 1458 tez belirlendi. Lisansüstü
tezlerin 1097 tanesi 2018 yılı sonrasına aitti. Bu
çalışmaların 264 tanesi doktora tezi, 1163 tanesi yüksek
lisans tezi, 31 tanesini ise tıpta uzmanlık tezi idi. Kategori
bakımından tezlerin 828 tanesi ruhsal, 125 tanesi fiziksel,
58 tanesi duygusal, 163 tanesi sosyal, 172 tanesi mesleki
iyilik hali alt boyutunu ele almıştı. Araştırma tipine göre
551 tez tanımlayıcı, 713 tez korelasyon, 194 tez deneysel
araştırma olarak planlanmıştı. Tezlerde kullanılan
değerlendirme yöntemlerinde ölçekler ilk sırada idi.
Sonuç: Araştırmamız iyilik halinin, ülkemizdeki
lisansüstü çalışmalarda da farklı boyutlarda ele alındığını
göstermiştir. İyilik hali-wellness programları olan
merkezlere talep her geçen gün artmaktadır. Sağlıkla ilgili
uygulamalarda iyilik hali yaygın olarak kullanılmasına
rağmen bu çalışmaların literatüre yeterince yansımadığı
saptanmıştır. Sağlık turizmi ve ekonomiye katkıları da göz
önüne alınarak iyilik hali konusu alanında bilginin
geliştirilmesine yönelik daha çok lisansüstü araştırmalara
ihtiyaç vardır.
Purpose: Wellness is defined as "not just the absence of illness, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellness." The primary aim of this descriptive study is to examine, analyze and classify postgraduate studies related to wellness, which means "iyilik hali" in Turkish. Method: Theses on the topic of wellness uploaded to the National Thesis Center until July 2023, were included to study. The studies were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods. Results: A total of 1458 theses were determined according to the criteria. 1097 of the postgraduate theses were from 2018 onwards. Out of these studies, 264 were doctoral theses, 1163 were master's theses, and 31 were medical specialization theses. In categories, 828 theses addressed the mental, 125 the physical, 58 the emotional, 163 the social, and 172 the occupational wellness dimensions. Based on the research type, 551 theses were descriptive, 713 theses were correlational, and 194 theses were designed as experimental research. Scales were the most frequently used assessment methods in the theses. Conclusion: Wellness is a multidimensional concept that encompasses not only the treatment of sick individuals but also the maintenance of well-being in various dimensions. The demand for centers with wellness programs is increasing day by day. Despite being widely used in healthrelated practices, studies related with the wellness are not adequately reflected in the literature. Considering the contributions to health tourism and the economy, more postgraduate research is needed to develop knowledge in wellness.
