Abstract
Bu tez çalışmasında, 06-10 yaş grubu öğrencilerinin görsel sanatlar eğitiminde portre resminin kullanımı, önemi ve öğrencilere nasıl bir yol göstereceği değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, portre resminin, sanat eğitimindeki amacı doğrultusunda kullanılan yöntemin önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Çalışmada ilk olarak genel hatlarıyla sanat, sanat eğitimi, porte resmi tanımlanarak sanat eğitiminin gerekliliği ve önemine değinilmiştir. Bir sonraki bölümde geçmişten günümüze kadar gerek dünyada gerekse Türkiye’de porte resminin tarihsel gelişimine ve sanatçıların yaptığı portre resim çalışmalarına yer verilmiştir. Eğitimcinin tek düzelik ve basma kalıpçılıktan kurtulmasına ışık tutabilecek örnek portre resimleri değerlendirilmiştir. Daha sonraki bölümde 06-10 yaş grubu öğrencilerinin; zihinsel, bedensel, psikolojik ve sanatsal gelişimi incelenerek, farklı yaş gruplarında portre resminin kullanım biçimleri doğrultusunda görsel sanatlar eğitimindeki yeri değerlendirilmiştir. Portre resminin söz konusu yaş grubundaki öğrencilerin gelişimine etkisi göz önüne serilmiştir. Portre resminin görsel sanatlar eğitiminde önemli amaçları yerine getirmesi bakımından önemli bir rol üstlendiği vurgulanmıştır. Tezin sonunda ise; sanat eğitiminin önemi, gerekliliği, sanat eğitimi içinde portre resminin yeri, dünyadaki ve Türkiye’deki portre resim çalışmalarının tarihi süreci, 06-10 yaş grubu öğrencilerinin gelişimsel dönemlerine göre yapmış oldukları portre resim çalışmalarının özellikleri, öğrencilerin yaptıkları portre resim uygulamaları, portre resminin çocuğun gelişimindeki yeri değerlendirilmiştir.Uygulama çalışmaları İstanbul ili, Üsküdar ilçesine bağlı olan Sokullu Mehmet Paşa İlkokulu 1. ve 4. sınıflar arasındaki öğrencilerinden oluşan bir grubu kapsamaktadır.Kullanılan veriler, değerlendirme formu, çoktan seçmeli test ve anket uygulamalarının sonucunda oluşturulmuştur. Veri sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin portre resim bilgisine sahip oldukları ve insan yüzünü kendi düşüncelerine göre özgürce resmetmeye olan ilgilerinin arttığı görülmüştür. Renk, doku, kompozison gibi plastik değerlerin yanında teknik, özgünlük, görsel algı ve anlatımsallık gibi kavramsal unsurların da geliştiği gözlenmiştir.--------------------In this thesis work,the usage and importance of portrait painting and how to guide the students the ages between 6-10 in visual art education is evaluated. In this work, importance of the method that is used in accordance with the aim of visual art education of portrait painting is emphasized.Firsty, It is mentioned in the work in general terms that Visual Art education is important and necessary by describing visual arts, visual art education and portrait painting. The next chapter includes the portrait painting works of artists and historical development of portrait painting both in Turkey and the World from past to present. Some portrait paintings that will help educators to get rid of monotony and carniness are evaluated. Next chapter, students the ages between 6-10 are examined as physically, psychologically , mentally and their artistic improvement so that it is evaluated the place visual art lesson in accordance with rhe usage of portrait painting in different age groups.The effect of students’ improvement on portrait painting that practiced with 6-10 age group students are made clear. This work also emphasizes that portrait painting has undertaken great role in visual art education . At the end of the thesis, the importance and necessity of visual arts lesson , the place of portrait painting on visual arts education , historical process of portrait painting both in Turkey and the World . The features of 6-10 years old students self made portraits paintings.Practice work includes İstanbul city Üsküdar district Sokullu Mehmet Paşa primaly school students who are between Grade 1-4.Data is formed by using the results of evaluation forms, multiple tests and questionnaires. According to the results of data ,the experimental group students have the information of portrait painting freely with their own imagination and opinion. It is observed that both some plastic values such as colour , tissue and composition and cognitive factors such as technics , individuality , visual perception and expressive function are improved.
