Abstract
Modernizm ve Geleneksellik Açısından Müslümanın Kılık KıyafetiÖZETİnsanlık tarihi kadar eski olan giyim kuşam, eskiden beri yerine getirmekte olduğu işlevini yitirip yeni bir içerik kazanmaktadır. Geleneksel toplumlarda giyim, kişinin toplumdaki konumunu, maddi durumunu, kültürünü, milliyetini, dini inancını yansıtmaktaydı. Ancak modern toplumlarda ise bu etkenlerin çoğunluğu ortadan kalkmıştır. Onların yerine belirleyici olarak moda yerini almıştır. Modanın etkisi artık yöresel yerine evrensel planda olmaktadır.Kadın ve erkeğin yapısı gereği aralarında birçok fark bulunmaktadır. Bu farklar cinsin giyimindeki etkisinde de görülmektedir.Kadınların örtülü ile açık olmasının da çeşitli kişisel ve toplumsal etkenleri, sonuçları bulunmaktadır.The Muslim's Clothing from the Point of View of Modernism and TraditionalismSummaryClothing, that is as old as the history of mankind, has lost its functions that it has had for a long time and has gained a new meaning.In traditional societies clothes used to reflect the social status, financial situation, culture, nationality and religious believes of a person. However, in modern societies, most of these factors have vanished and fashion has replaced with them as a determiner. The influence of fashion has started being seen universally instead of local reactions.There are several differences between men and women as a consequence of their unlike nature. These differences can also be seen on the effects of clothing of each sex.There are several individual and social factors and consequences of a woman's being covered or not.
