dc.description.abstractÖZETGEÇMİŞTEN GÜNÜMÜZE MUT, SİVRİHİSAR, EMİRDAĞ KİLİMLERİNDE YAŞAM SEMBOLLERİ‘Geçmişten Günümüze Mut, Sivrihisar, Emirdağ Kilimlerinde Yaşam Sembolleri’ konulu tez çalışmasında bu bölgelerin coğrafi konumları ve tarihsel süreç içerisinde yerleşen Oğuz, Yörük, Türkmen ve Aşiretlerin yayılımları, üretilen havsız kirkitli dokuma türündeki kilimlerde kullanılan malzemeler, boyarmaddeler, teknik ve kompozisyon özellikler ile en önemlisi de kullanılan motifler incelenmiştir. Tüm Anadolu’da olduğu gibi Mut, Sivrihisar ve Emirdağ yörelerindeki kilim motifleri; zaman zaman aynı görsel özelliği taşımış fakat farklı isimlendirilmiştir. Bazen de aynı sembolik anlamı yüklenmiş fakat farklı isim ve görsel özelliği yansıttığı görülmüştür.ABSTRACTTHE LIFE SYMBOLS FROM PAST TO PRESENT ON MUT, SİVRİHİSAR, EMİRDAĞ RUGSIn this study on the life symbols from past to present on Mut, Sivrihisar, Emirdağ Rugs, the geographical locations of those regions and the dispersion of the Oghuz, the nomads known as the Yoruks, the Turkmens and other tribal groups, the materials used in the flat weave rugs without piles produced on horizontal looms, coloring matters, weaving techniques and design layouts and, more importantly the motifs used on the rugs were analyzed. Although the rug motifs used in those local areas such as Mut, Sivrihisar and Emirdağ have the same visual features from time to time, they are given different names as it happens in all Anatolia. They are sometimes given the same symbolic meaning, however, it is seen that they have diffent names and reflects different visual features.
