Abstract
Résumé: Le fait que Molière occupe une place très importante en Turquie, comme dans le monde entier, et qu’il existe de nombreuses études sur Molière se voit également avec les événements organisés à l’occasion du 400e anniversaire de sa naissance en 2022. Lorsqu’on effectue une recherche, on tombe sur de nombreuses études sur Molière. Celles-ci comprennent des œuvres théâtrales, des articles, des livres, des traductions, des adaptations, des thèses et des mémoires. De nombreuses personnes en Turquie ont été influencées par Molière, mais dans cette étude, seules les traductions et adaptations de Molière par Ahmet Vefik Paşa sont abordées. Ces deux auteurs avaient une volonté commune de lutter contre l’injustice, l’hypo crisie, l’avarice et la préciosité. Dans une perspective à la fois morale et progres siste, ils pensaient qu’il était possible de réformer la société, de corriger les vices, de dénoncer la corruption afin d’instruire et d’élever le peuple. Abstract The fact that Molière has a very important place in Turkey, as well as in the world, and that there are many studies on Molière can also be seen in the events organised for the 400th anniversary of his birth in 2022. When one searches for a study, one comes across many studies on Molière. These include theatre works, articles, books, translations, adaptations, theses and dissertations. Many people in Turkey have been influenced by Molière, but in this study, only Ahmet Vefik Paşa’s translations and adaptations of Molière are discussed. Both authors had a common desire to fight against injustice, hypocrisy, greed and preciousness. From a moral and progressive perspective, they believed that it was possible to reform society, to correct vices, to denounce corruption in order to educate and elevate the people. Molière’in tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de çok önemli bir yere sahip olduğu ve Molière ile ilgili çok sayıda çalışma bulunduğu 2022 yılında doğumunun 400. Yıldönümünde yapılan etkinliklerle de görülmektedir. Alanyazın taraması yapıldığında karşımıza Molière ile ilgili yapılan birçok çalışma çıkmaktadır. Bunların arasında, tiyatro eserleri, makaleler, kitaplar, çeviriler, uyarlamalar, doktora ve yüksek lisans tezleri yer almaktadır. Türkiye’de Molière’den etkilenmiş birçok kişi bulunmaktadır, ancak bu çalışmada sadece Ahmet Vefik Paşa’nın Molière’den yaptığı çeviriler ve uyarlamalar ele alınmıştır. Her iki yazarın da adaletsizliğe, ikiyüzlülüğe, açgözlülüğe karşı mücadele etme konusunda ortak noktaları vardı. İki yazar da toplumu eğitmek ve yüceltmek için reform yapmanın, ahlaksızlıkları düzeltmenin, yolsuzluğu kınamanın ve önlemenin mümkün olduğunu düşünüyorlardı.
